Conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards... our gray-market 90s and 110s that are coming in are "non-conforming". Any new vehicle sold in the US must "conform" to the standards.

We MOT all our vehicles, but if you rebuild a vehicle to this extent in the UK you have to take the vehicle for an SVA test for it to be able to be used on UK roads.

exactly if you just export them, and don't drive them on the higway you are not breaking any rules.
