Images from overseas customer

Just got some images for a parade LR did in I did at Solihull in May of 1999 when Land Rover celebrated 50 years of production. Customer says "They had a parade of vehicles down the High Street, with at least one vehicle type from each year of production, plus various "one off" vehicles driving slowly past."

Enjoy.

The line of various Camel Trophy trucks is serious drool. What the hell is that red rig in the 2nd pic? I'm not that knowledgeable on the Series trucks but is it a Series I - 109?

If it was done in Solihull..... the road probably had an Exxon/Mobile rig already hooked up to the storm drains due to the high rover traffic the town already see's.

Thanks guys : Pretty cool truck but the different front and rear doors and the SW top creates some odd lines on it.

I had one for a while. The construction on them is nuts. However, they are the coolest rover IMHO albeit perhaps the least practical.

haha, very true. With the straight sides, roof and strapping hinges that 107 looks like the shed in my backyard if I had painted it red.

Damn Ron, is your "have not had" Rover model list shorter than your "had/have" list?
