I'm back!

It's not a D90, but it is just about as close as you can get and still be a Rover.

1996 5 speed Disco 1.

Super excited.

Thanks!

I picked up the Boost wheels at a wrecking yard in Maine for $200 for a set of 5.

If anyone else is looking, go to www.car-parts.com and you can search for them. Look under 1998 Discovery, and choose the fluted spoke, square relief. The yard even sent me pics before I picked them up.

Nice. But that A-bar needs to die in a fire.

Haha I was looking at those same ones for someone else and the shop said they were stained beyond repair. They're the ones from Lashin's I'm assuming?

Yep, those are the ones. I cleaned one already. A little Eagle One wheel/ tire cleaner and the staining melted right off. I was very relieved, they look like new now!

My thoughts exactly. I plan on taking that off one of these weekends. Do you know what brand the front bumper is?

A pic of the rim after cleaning . . . I still need to get into the nooks and I will get to that when I remove the lugs one of these days.

Damn Greg that looks nice! Just sent this to my friend who passed on them after I found them for him. Rubbing it in a little.

Any idea what that crap was on them? I had that stuff on some rims a while back that I was going to use for my own that were a royal pain to clean.

I'm pretty sure it is just brake dust, rust and road salt all mixed together. They just were not cleaned very often I would guess. I sprayed some Eagle One wheel and rim cleaner on there and then just a little scrubbing and they cleaned right up.

Glad you guys passed on them. Worked out well for me
