I want to move to Australia

in case you need another Land Rover site to waste some time on, here's a good one: Australian Land Rover Owners

http://www.aulro.com/

my new favorite defender:

thanks (?) to Paul (grnrvrs) for turning me onto the site. I want an Isuzu-powered Defender now.

nah, just jealous of their trucks and all the wide-open spaces they've got. and the platypuses.

I've been there twice and I absolutely fell in love with the country and the people. The fact that they can use these trucks as they're intended on a regular basis alone made me jealous. Both times I went I did a camping trip on Fraser Island in a 110 which was the most fun I've ever had in my life. I loved their play hard attitude as well (and the Bundaberg goes without saying).

Australia is an amazing country, people, life style, diversity, culture, food and wine and the list goes on. I loved it when people would say they love my accent, but explaining that being from CA we dont have one. Will always be the favorite place to go.
