It's only because the range rover blew the head gaskets. Can't drive the lotus in snow. I will sell it as soon as I have a running rover again. Promise!

PS I am putting a land rover tire cover on it.

There would be no need. Jeeps don't break down . . . I hope.

hehehehe

The biggest shock was pricing a softop. Bestop is $450, generic is $250 both with windows compare to rover price for similar.

Oh boy...

Honestly, as much as I love my rovers, there is nothing wrong with jeeps. You can't beat them for value. I still miss my old CJ7

Ron, "YOUR FIRED!!!!"

Chris, please change Ron's userid to TRAITOR for 48 hours and then rovoke it!

Seriously, blown head gasket? We had better not ever catch you wearing that shirt that says "I would rather push my Land Rover than drive a Jeep"

Blown head gasket or slipped liner.

I am going to fix her (4.6 in the closet along with a whole head gasket set), but the construction of my garage is behind schedule. I have a moat where the foundation is supposed to be thanks to all the rain.

If anybody else is thinking of making the swap, I have a CJ-7 project that I'm looking to part with :-)

Since when do moats effect Rovers? I could understand if you couldn't get the J**p through it!

I think there are a number of us that are closet J**p owners ('01 Gr Cherokee here); but at least the 110 is coming along nicely now.

Pictures will be added soon.

Good Will, we have another "bi" owner to support the two of us.
Ron, just know when you are driving it that deep down you are a Rover guy.
