The moat is where the foundation for the garage is to go. The garage needs to get built so I can put on the head gaskets without getting wet.

Did you buy another Jeep or is that the old one?

Yah know, I have always owned a Jeep. My first car was a Jeep, and I have built, wheeled, and restored all different models going back to 1945 for the past 15 years. I just bought my first Land Rover last month and could not be more pleased. I think the Land Rovers are better engineered and better built. I actually sold my prized restored 1950 Willys CJ-3A to buy my D-90. I test drove a D-90 back in '94 in college but could not afford one. I always aspired to owning one, and here I am! However, I will always have a sweet spot in my heart for old Jeeps!

My daily is an '07 Wrangler 4 door. Really nothing else on the market that compares for: price, off road ability, soft top, looks, car seat friendly, interstate worthy, and WARRANTY. I was really torn when shopping. Why have a Defender and a Wrangler? I wanted a new SUVin the 30k range that I could wheel, but the fam could also travel in. After looking at the H3 and FJ (which I admit I liked both) the Jeep won out. Had it almost a year now, and no complaints... Will never compare to Ole Yeller though

I bought a '02 Jeep TJ 2 years ago, because I wanted a 90 and I figured 'the jeep would be an affordable compromise' ... i lifted it, it never had any mechanical problems... but it just didn't feel right.. I was finally able to buy a d90 and happily got rid of the jeep asap.. I guess I still just don't understand the Jeep thing..

To me, the older Jeeps were ridiculously easy to work on and restore. These aluminum bodies, EFI, and computer gismos on the D-90 scare me, but I am learning as I go.....
