Anyone can do that. But, I bet he can't steer with one knee while finishing his sandwich.

He was on Top Gear last year and is currently running in a couple of the WRC rallies.

Again, 0 to 60 mph in 1.9 sec ?
They can't be serious about that.

probably at the wheels but not actual speed. Those tires don't look like they grip enough to actually get that car up to 60 in 1.9.

He is very entertaining, but too bad he sucks at Rally. I road shotgun with Pastrana in his Subaru rally car around a course in NH and all I can say is, I can't go on a rollercoaster anymore. Going sideways through trees at 70mph is such a rush!

the video's block puts out are cool & do a great job at marketing the product during the video (monster, DC, formerly subaru now ford etc..) but I agree with david, block sucks at rally. Even more so since he started WRC this year. I can't recall but I don't think he has actually managed to finish a WRC race intact yet? I think hes had only DNFs.

------ Follow up post added September 16th, 2010 11:18 AM ------

anyway for those that are interested in more gymkhana by block (I mean it's a good 5 minute waster if I had an opinion)

Here's

Gymkhana 2.0

<---- I want that so bad.

Well, I doubt they would make the 1.9s claim without being able to back it up. Of course I doubt there is much of anything on that car that actually comes from a ford fiesta. Still pretty amazing stuff.

Agree, amazing and fun, but 0 to 60 in 1.9 sec ? I don't think so.

I dunno man. I think you'd see some kind of public rebuttal quickly if it was BS. You can't go saying stuff like that and get away with it if it's not true. Seems to me repeated all over the place. It is pretty much a go-cart with a big engine

I don't know Charles, i still don't buy it. I mean it's 1.9 sec, no 2.9, it's 1.9 sec. Bye bye McLaren F1, Enzo, LP 670, Koenigsegg, Veyron...
The Viper Hennessey Venom 1000 is the only one i know about under 2 sec, at 1.97 sec.

Gymkhana 7 -

Probably the most brutal '65 Mustang I've ever seen.

It's legit- A purpose built AWD vehicle that weighs sub 2200 lbs (think ron's lotus) having 650hp and 660 ft/lbs torque. The hennessey viper weighed around 3500ish lbs me thinks.

BTW gymkhana 5 in San Francisco is still my favorite.

Agree - but some of the clips (especially the sounds) of that Mustang are pretty rad.
