I know its mean but I get a kick out of it. . .

Every time I take my D90 to get inspected (here in NC you have to do it annually) it is funny to watch the guys figure out the quirks of the truck from the moment they get in.

Some take a minute or two to figure out how to even open the door and then finding the ignition switch and then having to turn it backwards. I know I should not be so mean but it was so hot outside I left the truck in the bay and went in the air conditioning!

The next is figuring out how to honk the horn and turn the headlights on. I know childish but still rather funny. I still hold my breath on the emissions portion of the test!

Another is having a tire place like Discount tire remove the bonnet mounted tire to change or balance. The only way to remove it is climb up on the wings, and I think most aren't used to climbing on a customers vehicle like that.

Michael, I saw a green 90 parked up by Miro's down in Stonecrest 2 weeks ago. I'm assuming it was you? There's so few D's in Charlotte, I can't imagine there's another Green D around.

That wasn't me! Seems like there are a few more lurking around Charlotte. Stonecrest is a bit out of my normal circle unless I am heading to Indianlands for some cheap gas, but driving a Rover sort of defeats the purpose of driving 15 miles to save on gas! It gives me an excuse to get out and cruise!

I do the same with valets...esp since you kind of need to "use the force" to find a gear as "gates" don't really exist...
