It's an upgrade. Apparently 15 years old no longer want to share the same bed with their dad. So we went for something that offered 2 beds, still had some novelty factor, and fits in the garage. The fitting in a garage is a bit of a misnomer. It fit, but it required lowering the tire pressure to 10lbs, and then putting the tongue on a car jack to maneuver it in. A tongue wheel still makes it sit up too high. I guess if I can now convince my wife we need a sectional garage door so that I gain an extra 2 inches, then my D90 will fit in as well.
Amazingly I posted up on the teardrop forum that I was picking up a Scotty and would probably be selling my TD, I ended up selling it 2 days later. It's one of the rare moments in my life where I actually got the cash for something I was selling before buying the replacement item. She's usable right now, but I do plan to do an iterative makeover.
