There is a series 3109 in Felton California that I'm really interested in. It's posted right now on eBay. I'm in California right now but in Southern California and fly out in the morning. It's almost impossible for me to go and look at this truck myself. If anyone knows anything about this truck or can give me some pointers or actually wants to go look at it I'd appreciate it. The bid in on eBay and not quite three days. I will be back in California in that area in a couple of weeksand could potentially drive it home or ship it then if it is in fact a good truck. It's everything I want a right-hand soft top diesel.

I'm here in Southern Cal now, and have to fly back East in the morning. I'd look if I could but I can't. Not before the bid ends on Monday.

I just want to ensure its not a big rust rig, etc.

First, haven't seen the truck in person, but have been in-contact with him.
I've been tempted to go see it (and bid on it myself), but it really isn't the model I'm looking for.

I was more interested in the registration since it's a mid-80's desiel.
He indicated "currently registered. It has current tags. Diesel vehicles of this age do not require smog. It is smog exempt."

So you might expect a lot of Californians to bid on this in the last 10 seconds.

Hope this helps.

Rats on that...he had it listed at 12k, then 9500 now started at 5k which has one bid. I'm just a smidge suspicious at the rush to sell.

Just bid what you're willing to pay. You might still get lucky after all and get i for what you want after all.

I would just hate to buy it and pay about $1000 to ship it home and find out it's a rusted out lemon or has a bad title or something.

Since you're in Southern California, you might also check some of the local craiglisting, take a closer look at the SB and SD craiglists (note none of these are mine nor do I know any of them personally).

Good luck

Ok, I rode over there on my motorcycle, there is a 109 at the address you gave me, It is not on the street so I just drove by, it does appear to have a new tilt on. Unless you call them and/or give me thier # that's the best I can do, going on peoples property in that part of the county can get you shot, independent farmers and all that.

If you are looking for someone to drive it back to Florida maybe we can work something out.
