I am sad.

Since it was a beautiful day today, I got the D90 out of the garage. (I don't drive it much or at all during the winter.) I have to get a new inspection since I didn't get it done in December when it was due. On the back of Vermont inspection sticker they write the mileage at the time of inspection. I did some quick math, and I am very sad to say that I have only driven my 90 800miles in the past year and a half..... WOW, I need to get out there and drive more!!!

I'm with you in my '92 Classic. I've averaged out 1,000 miles per year over the last three years. So far I've put more miles on this Defender since I bought it 6 months ago than I have on the Classic. I got from 12,000 to 47,000 on the LE rather quickly though.

I don't mind the Classic or the 90 being "occasional use" vehicles at all. I don't miss commuting 60 miles a day in the LE one bit.

Tim,

I am moving to Manchester, VT in July. That is only about an hour away from you so we should try and meet up for some wheeling!

How can you guys do that? When I had my D90, I used every excuse and did everything I could to drive the car as much as I could.

Man, I hope you start it occassionally. I got my D with that same mileage used and all the seals needed replacing. Very costly mistake...
