94% of my town has no power. The remainder is located near a prison. Only had three trees down on my street include one that took out a powerline. On a dead end street like mine that's inconvenient.

LOL...yeah sure I REALLY wanted to go but I was like, *super* busy drinking beer and chilling in front of a warm fire. No sewer backups yet- fortunately lots of folks downhill from me here to uh, relieve that problem. I was going to text you a picture of the nautical themed beverages I just bought in honor of your seafaring heroics. I think if I was there with you I probably would have shat myself after firing a warning shot of projectile vomit across the bow. So probably for the best.

Mercedes is parked across the street from the big 30" diameter oak that is directly in front of my house- trying to tempt fate in the opposite direction from my bedroom.

Glad you made it to dry land. And sufficient beer supply!

No power below 14th street. Subways have flooded and ConEd shut off all power. Here's what it looks like outside right now. Linda creepy. The only light we have is from the Empire State Building's reflective lights off the clouds.

Never heard anything like this happening in NYC in modern times. Sounds eire.

Update, every household in my town is out of power, i just tried to drive around, and every way off my street legally is blocked by down trees tangled with wires.

So, anyway after being on the water in 50 to 60 mph wind and driving rain for a 12 hour shift in an open 21 foot Mako center consol with no beer and no heater and no where near 600 hp. And if having an douch bag project manager who kept us on the water the whole time wasn't bad enough, the waitress' wouldn't wade into water to bring our beers. So we had to move to the upper bar - devstation complete.

Shit got bad in LIC. Water came out of nowhere and I had to move the trucks up the road. I had cars floating by me.

We lost power here in Queens around 3 PM. Once the winds really picked up after dark it got ugly: big trees down, pulled down power lines and snapped tops off of utility poles, my own service line to the house is now snapped and lying on top of the 110 in the driveway. Branches and debris all over the place. The 110 looks like it has been resprayed in a sort of fall foliage camo. I was going to go for a little walk around 11 PM when I saw all the downed trees and power lines, and thought better of it. It'll be days before we get power back at my house, what with the trees on the lines and the broken utility poles. Even the street is blocked by a fallen tree at one end.
