Well, if 41 inches of rain and sustained 145 mph winds on Haiti is any indicator .........

I think we can expect evacuations once the storm makes its turn and the path is known.

Damn, Glad we have a nice dune system in south jersey. Not everyone does though. Not sure if they learned from Sandy.

They will be much bigger. There were 12 foot seas offshore just this past Saturday with that pesky weather system we had.

Not on the shore. I went surfing Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Saturday was like 5/6 at Robert Moses and Sunday was 3/4 in Long Beach.

Great surfing weather. Slight shift east in the latest models. Let's hope it stays just a surfer storm.

I have no idea how two storms react when they collide but if one has the ability or potential to change the others course, it sure looks like landfall on the outer banks.

By this time next week we are going to be hearing people saying, "Thank goodness it wasn't snow or we would have had 13-1/2 feet of snow."

there's a high pressure ridge in the middle of the Atlantic that is blocking both from getting pushed out to sea.. not good.

Last major Atlantic storm that came from a convergence had a movie made about it called "perfect storm"
