Looks like they expect it to regain strength after passing over Hatteras

Made it through unharmed. Power is still out, but safe. Family check in completed. Tree fell on the corner of my mother-in-law's roof, but no other known damage.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.

Glad to hear Brian, I checked in with my mother and they lost electricity around midnight but no flooding or other damage.

Next up to bat Georgia and the Carolinas.

So lucky we decided to go to the lake instead of HHI or Tybee who will get a good hit. Everyone stay safe out there and hopefully power will stay on or return for a full day of football tomorrow

Lol - offered help to one of the neighbors clear some trees and debris from his yard this morning and he said "That's gonna have to wait! We're leaving in 20 minutes for the FSU football game in Orlando."

Nice. Thankful the game isn't in Tallahassee. From what I've seen lots of trees down around town

I lost a screen from a window... Darn.
Still gusting around 30-40 mph with sustained 20 mph winds on the beach.
Sick waves.
Here's to you, Hermine.
I hope she takes it easy on my Long Island buddies.

Yep, tree city USA, a canopy road town with mostly above-ground power lines.
