Human trafficking / RURR

Trying to do a fellow board member a HUGE favor. Anyone from NYC/NJ heading north to the Adirondacks / Saratoga NY / Albany NY area in the next 8-9 days?

Essentially I'm trying to get a truck south for him, but need to get my ass back north to home. And no, there will no no bus in my future!

You can come into NYC and fly back. Jus last week a 1 way to Syracuse was under $70.

Jason and I are on the same boat...

I need a lift from DC to NJ-NY so I can pickup the aforementioned truck and help out the fellow board member. (Just in case the truck is not mine nor Jason's).

I'm looking to see if I can take one of those "DC-to-NYC or Bust" buses. (not my cup of tea to be honest)

All depends if Jason can make it down.

My boss usually goes up to Montreal on the weekends (I could have been dropped off)... He is not going for a few weeks.

Crap that would have been perfect. You would have gone within a couple miles of my place!

Bump on this...anyone heading north to Albany NY / Adirondacks / I-87 North in New York anytime this week? Looked into this, current only option appears to be 3.5 hour drive down followed by 6 hour train ride back...yikes.

Why not a Chinatown bus? (aka Bolt Bus)

Passengers are mostly college students and young professionals, and free wifi.

That is what headphones are for. They don't even have to be attached to anything. It will save you the dreaded stories upon your return.

You could take the MegaBus, (wwww.megabus.com) cheaper then Greyhound and probably twice the adventure and stories!

on my dreaded trip from San Diego to Denver on a greyhound, even with headphones on some of the people would just stare at you which was almost worse than talking to them.

I know exactly what you are saying.

There is not enough money in the world that will make me take a Greyhound again...

At some point I thought I was in the wrong bus... I swore I was going to Attica.

Just an FYI that Pedro - reigning king of the RURR - came through HUGE on this one. He's flying to Albany Monday morning and driving the Disco back to VA! Standing ovation please...

That will leave him plenty of time to begin plotting his course south from Albany, using the fewest number of toll roads possible.
