Hughs Net

Anyone here using Hughs Net? if so wadda you think about it? what package are you using? are the stated speeds accurate?

My mom has the 1.5mb plan. It's about 1.5mb most of the time. Seems to work pretty well. Pretty reliable. Pretty expensive for those speeds, but living out in the boonies there isn't much choice.

Was on the engineering staff for "Directway" Hughes net...have had it for 12 years. As was said...when you live in the sticks......
It was the only link up after our earthquake when all the cell towers went south.
