Hub and Spindles.. Are they The same

Are the hubs and spindles the same on RRC's, disco 1's and D-90's? They seem to look the same. Just curious. I have a rear RRC axle I am building for a 90 and was wondering if they were different..

i think for certain years within the NAS spectrum, yes. But not all spindles fit all hubs. Spindle has to match hub has to match axle/drive flange if that makes any sense.

the 1987-1989 RRC hubs and spindles are different but the 1990-1995 RRC hubs and spindles should be all "ABS-type" even though some are 10 spline, some are 24 spline.

If you have the earlier hubs and they dont work for you, hold on to them, because I was able to get some $ for mine from a 110 guy who was converting to disc brakes.

Jeff has it right. There are basically 2 types, pre ABS and ABS. Either one will bolt up to your housing.

The axle does not have shafts in it but it has a 24 spline carrier. I guess this will be all the same as the d-90 stuff then.
