Question How would u fix this??

Hey guys. I noticed last night on the Disco that the "wood" trim is coming up above the glove box. Silicone super glue ? What would you recommend to affix the wood down? Picture attached for your reference. Thank you as always.

Epoxy I'd think would work quite well.

Yeah, most any thick epoxy or trim adhesive should work fine with that. Just be careful, those things can get messy sometimes.

Wood Trim? You must have one of them Fancy Rover versions.

Thank you. I will be careful, the way my luck runs I will glue my hand to the wood trim or glove box and the saying "one with the rover" will bring on a whole new meaning. LOL

Fancy Rover hehe. I have two sunroofs too Hans, want to trade for the 90? *Big Grin*

First off what are we all doing on the d-90 source on a Saturday night? Should we start a Saturday night losers club? I can be president!

I think you need to take the wood trim off and add an OH SHIFT (- the F ) handle, and do a write up, because I need to install one in my 90 (not that you need one I do thats all ). But if you really want to keep the "wood" trim I would say it is a safe bet that "wood" glue and maybe some finish nails or brads would hold that baby on better then before. I have too be honest I am no carpenter, and I bet that is why it is falling off, because some auto type person installing parts for Land Rover said "hey, how do you hold wood to a car?". Now I have used that epoxy stuff before and my rear view mirror still fell off, so I bolted it on. As always I mean no harm just feeling goofy, you did post in chit chat.

Ahhh thats your problem, all the D-90 guys (or doods?) Hook up before 10:04 pm, you need to start earlier, or you need to know how to unhook them up. 2 handles, hmm intresting, I always thought one big one was enough.

Speak for yourselves, I'm nowhere near home right now. I'm at WORK until midnight, then back here again 8am tomorrow. Here I sit, tied to my desk via a pair of headphones, but they give me internet access.

I really need a new job.

In colorado.

Outdoors.

and I don't care about the pay too much.

Tech support? For what? And just because you are at work is no excuse for not being a looser. I nominate you vice president. Melissa is just a looser wannabe, she tries to be a looser but she just can't handle the pressure. Tyler well he has yet to reply with his excuse. And all you others reading this I see you! it says just who is visiting the site at the bottom of my screen there is no hiding from me!

I approve this message President Saturday night looser

Nooo, not tech support. Oceanic air traffic radio operator. I get to talk to airplanes allllllllll night long. It's far less fun than it sounds after having to listen to the same thing 500 times a night, and typing them all out.

Hey, Hey, Hey. The pink fingernails were on a GIRL's picture, not the guys here.

Mike. Hmmmm, there was this one Russian pilot lately, she had that PERFECT Russian accent. Man, what a voice on her. But I think my wife would get upset.

By the way, I like the pic.. Are you a Hand model in your spare time? You can also look into 3m double sided tape. It is made to put trim on. It holds well.

My excuse is that I'm injured and having trouble walking. A combination of work and extra curricular activites friday night.

Best not to upset the wife, you must be in enough trouble with all the work on the Rover.

Ah, if only that were true. I just really really want a new job, this one sucks.

Mike, no need to worry about ruining my night. It was ruined enough when I got home and found out they changed the time slot for my favorite cartoon and I won't be able to watch it anymore on Saturday nights :-(
