Yes. It is out of hand. The streets are FULL of kids for hours. It's like Christmas meets Disney for stimulus overload. It's really neat and a lot of fun. The neighborhood has a history of being like this for years.
Our neighbor gives out cans of soda so they have a really good idea of how many kids come through. Last year I did Wonka Bars so I knew based on how many we ordered (including subtracting the ones I was forced to eat prior to the holiday).
Kids love it. They all talk about it for months leading up to it and after.
