How many Series have driven to Deadhorse Alaska?

I'm looking for any info on the confirmed number (or a good estimate) of Series LRs that have driven to the end of the Haul road (Dalton Highway) here in Alaska and made it to Deadhorse.

I have searched a little and have not had luck finding much out there. Either solo or as part of an expedition there has to be some record of a few Series making the trek. Pictures, stories, and first hand accounts would be great to see and hear.

I don't know about the brakes, only their unreliability.

In a few weeks here I'm really banking on one making it there documented by the History Channel

There are a few videos of a series expedition to a "deadhorse" on youtube, but in Maine. I bet you that orange SI 107 SW on 37's has made it up there (in its previous life before it was found abandoned).

I remember hearing something about a european couple bringing over a diesel series 3 109 and driving it around Alaska.

They had a buyer that was going to purchase it after the trip but that fell through. Someone in the lower 48 picked it up.

That is all I got.

That might be the same one I found last night...but there wasn't much info about what route they took. Was looking at their photobucket for landmarks...
