How long have you had your D?

With the number of Defenders that change hands I was curious how long the average human puts up with/Relishes the idiosyncrasies of the D. I'm at 9 years.

I've had my 110 now for three years and my Series 3 for 25. And I hope to have them both for a long time yet.

I've had my D-90 for 4 years and 8 months - had to wait long enough to afford one and then it took me four years to convince the original owner to sell it to me. My niece and nephew are already fighting over who gets to inherit it.

I've owned my 1966 SIIA 109 diesel wagon since September of 1979.

I bought my 1967 SIIA 88 the first time in 1974 and sold it in 1978 - bought it back in 1994.

Original owner. 12 years, 5 months, 4 days, and counting...

Keeping cars for a long time is hereditary.
My dad's had his '68 Olds for 41 years and 2 months, he picked it up Labor Day weekend in '68. I hope I have my D at least that long.
