Hood not fitting

So, I have a picture but it is kind of far away, I will post one closer when I get off work tonight. My hood does not lay flat. Is this just because it is a little beat up and warped or is there something that commonly causes this that I can go out and repair myself without getting a new hood?

Thanks for any help in advance

Why not ask on LRUK and get another local owner to help you out ?

If you mean side to side at the slam panel, adjust the stops on each side.
