Hong Kong - Any Recommendations?

Taking the family to Hong Kong in November. Staying on the Kowloon side, south of Temple St. Any recommendations besides the usual Disneyland, Victoria Peak, Temple St night market, museums, etc? Is Macau worth the side trip?

One of my best memories form Hong Kong, was after taking the tram up to the peak, walking down 'old peak road' It was the most surreal experience. I saw no one. how often can you walk for 45 min in HK and not see another soul. Walked through the zoo and the old church on my way down the hill.

If you have dinner at Morton's in the Sheraton on Kowloon, try to time it for the laser light show from Hong Long Island. I think its every night at 9pm. Pretty cool.

November was when I went. It was about 100 degrees. I stayed on HK Island, so can't help you out too much with Kowloon, but the laser light show as Keith stated is pretty cool; even cooler on a 1-2 hour cruise (they were pretty cheap and sold beer and light food and were very clean).

Reserve anything you do in advance. Some of the lines are insane.

Tian Tan Buddha was pretty fun. It didn't take long to get out there via mass transit either. Take the cable car up and try to walk back. It looked insane.

Even just a regular ferry from Kowloon to HK Island is fun with the views of both shores.
