Honeymoon in the 110

We will be taking the Tithonus on our honeymoon trip to Missouri. I thought it might be a good idea to create a network of d-90 members that might be close to our route in case we have a problem. I hope for the best and plan for the....well you know. We will be going up I75 to Tifton Ga and then cutting NW through Albany, Auburn, Birmingham, Tupelo, Memphis, Jonesboro and on to Eminence Missouri. Any contacts would be appreciated and the same will be given in return to those in need of help in my neck of the woods.
We will be leaving Fl on the 11th of May.
Thanks in advance!!
Abe

I can help if you come up closer to Atlanta... Or I can hook you up with Winn, as he is in south GA.

BTW, who goes to (Misery) for a honey moon? Wouldn't Hawaii, the Caribbean or anywhere else be better? :-) Congrats on your nuptials...

What happened to the Birmabright Brotherhood?

Congrats and best wishes, Abraham! Is she a red head?

I was actually trying to be funny... Any wife willing to take a Defender on their honeymoon, is worth her weight in 90 wt.

I would at least upgrade the seats to SVX or elite series before the trip. It is afterall your honeymoon!

Is your wife also creating a support network of divorce attorneys for making her ride in a Defender across several states for the post-nuptials?

We are canoeing for 7 days and 120 miles down the Jacks Fork and Current rivers. It will make or break us.

I just moved out of Auburn a couple weeks ago, I still know a couple people down there and in Birmingham so let me know if you have any trouble... You should just make the trip to Nashville! Good luck!

The site is down though. Do you have to snail mail them now? Last I heard the general e-mail would also bounce back.

Very Cool! I'm pretty close by; you're more than welcome to contact me if you need to... we're just off 275 in Lutz.

I just read your other thread about acquiring the Tithonus truck (i've been busy lately). That thing looks cool! Would love to meet up sometime when you're done with the honeymoon thing and take a look at the truck.

That will be huge fun. Our family floated both of those rivers numerous times when I was a kid. Bring a mask, snorkel and fins-- the water is super clear and snorkeling in the holes is a lot of fun.

We honeymooned for a week in our 90, camping our way through Vermont and Maine. It was a blast and we would not have done it differently. Thankfully we had no issues other than a stubborn mis-aligned door striker. I drove about 200 miles holding the door shut.

Have fun and congratulations!

Wifey and I honeymooned in Oz, one of the stops there was Fraser Island, camping out of a 110. Best trip I've ever been on. Original thread - http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...ad.php?t=26034

The person who took over maintaining/updating had to use .com for the toplevel domain.

Thank you, each and every one!! I hope that it will be a trouble free trip. After the drive today I feel really good about it. Will get into the truck a little deeper this weekend, but the truck runs, shifts, drives and stops like it should. I am very pleased!

We will be heading out Friday after work. The truck is packed, fueled, and checked. Looking forward to a great trip all the way around. Thanks to all that said they would be willing to help, I hope we won't need it. Talk to you good people after the honeymoon!!
