It's a sticker! It can be removed. Maybe you have not seen the special edition Defenders? One is just like this. I am sure that the effect is not to everyone's tastes but that is the way with many of this type of car. You just build it and hope it will appeal to more people than not.
Maybe a price re-think is in order. I certainly will stick to my LWB vehicles in future as before. I know where I am with them. Just thought I would dip my toe in the water with a 90.

Just my point of view, but I think it is a great looking and super clean truck. I have pointed it out to my friends in the market for one. I have looked at all your pictures and your driving video, and am quite impressed. The graphics are personal taste, but I agree with the current paranoia around here, regarding 25 year legal vehicles. I think that is the biggest factor...

The basic gist is that you cannot ask more for it than it will sell for locally....so you might as well sell it locally. A TD 90 is not a super attractive truck to a US buyer.

A LHD, rust free, 1991 200TDI, 130 double cab, HCPU would make people stand up. Find a nice example in Italy and try sell that.

I can't get that into the USA yet. they will come in time for here. Just need a few more years. The locals had to be dragged away from buying their beloved series 3 based Santana's, that took some time. What's with Italy? Yes it has some good areas for buying but the Northern part is a bad place to buy almost as bad as Northern Europe. Spain is largely 365 day sunshine with some Desert areas (where this car was from). You have to go very high into the Mountain in the Middle of Winter to find salt affected areas here.

Well you say that but I have sold Trucks with no problem being based here. People have all bought direct from me based upon the condition of the car and knowing the climate is good. Yes there is an element of where it is. That I will agree.

BTW interesting to note that this particular model that I have replicated seems to be a Russian market model only.

You have a ridiculous looking sticker covering half the passenger side door. A sticker. On the door.

No rust either as it is from Spain. So why no interest on eBay or here? Price too high? It is half the price of an NAS nearly half the price of a lesser cream car that is currently on eBay. Although i think he is living in Cuckoo land if he thinks he is going to get that. I have provided tons of photos videos etc. What's going on?
This is a gorgeous truck. Yeah yeah yeah, I don't dig the stickers but I like the updated mods.
That being said, you've asked for "honest opinions" but are arguing against the collective Defendersource forum who are all unanimously saying IT IS TOO RISKY AT THAT PRICE POINT WITH ALL THE STUFF THAT'S BEEN DONE TO IT TO BUY IT SIGHT UNSEEN FROM OVERSEAS, AND BE ONLY A 90?????

most people myself included would say pass. If it was a 109/110/130, now that's a different story

You clearly don't like the answers despite asking them, so not sure what you want people here to say.

Ok how about this. We Americans are stupid and don't know a good deal. Is that better??

Just bring it over and I will buy it (and I have no desire for another 90, but I'll jump on the flip a D bandwagon)

Anyway

GLWS,

GLWS,
Points all taken and price reduced. Nobody was accusing anyone of being stupid. I asked for advice and I received it.
Being here and you guys being there will always be a tricky and if i had it with my agent I am sure it would have gone already. Something of which I will have to consider on the next cars. Anyway after all the sticker (Stickers are always like marmite, you love them or hate them) jokes I have had offers. Also someone asking for a 110 to be made exactly like this one.

All I do is keep it peaceful around here, so I may as well do it out in the wild as well.

I was thinking the same thing, but didn't want to throw "accusations" out there. Looks like it worked though with the "price reduced" and "offers received".

Gotta admit though, that's one smart way of advertising your product!

My opinion, if you have a friend here in the states, ship it to them and re-list it. ..... And probably for more money than your asking.

Marmite quotes are lost on the 99% here ....

Trust me it wasn't intentional.

Vegimite then? Do you have that? Maybe it should have been Peanut butter and Jelly then?
I have never been able to imagine the taste of that on a sandwich.
