That's assuming we are talking about legislation. Most of what we are talking about isn't actually law, but regulation where the government has delegated their authority to a bureaucracy. The bureaucrats don't make laws, they fill in the blanks allowed to them by very vague laws created from above, in the legislature.

In my estimation, these agency rules and regulation should not be allowed, period.

That being said, at a minimum, they should at least have to go back to the appropriate congressional committee
and have to be approved by a 2/3 majority vote of that committee before they become enforceable.

I know a couple of those trucks. Glad to see they never even got their hands on them to begin with.

I never had any doubt, as to the Govt coming around and doing the right thing. In the end, they usually do right.

I very quietly checked the list for my D, I guess hiding your truck was an option after all...

No they don't, they do what is necessary to keep their jobs and pensions. Nothing altrustic about it, they were forced to give the trucks back by Will.

I wouldn't be so cynical. Indeed they were forced to give the trucks back, however, in the process, they must have learned from the error of their ways.

You are barking up the wrong tree trying to convince this crowd the govt is anything but the embodiment of satan on earth.

Just to be clear, where these trucks ever in the possession of .gov? Reads like they couldn't find them and the warrant was squashed

Either way, good news for the owners...

Please see a copy of the 2nd Notice of Voluntary Dismissal below. I thought I'd made it clear above, but, to clarify, these are, in-fact, Defenders which the government has not been able to locate for purposes of effectuating proper service and seizure (i.e., the government could not find them). Because time has expired for purposes of the warrant, the government had to dismiss them from the civil case.
