That's great to hear! Congrats to the owners and good luck with the rest!

Awesome work Will - you're the Erin Brokovich of the defender community! :D

We'll done, will. Let me know if I can help with any of the government interactions. I've been a lobbyist for the last 15 or so years and deal daily with our elected officials. I am happy to assist if you need someone to make calls/connections

I heard from a birdie today that a fellow defender 110 owner got a letter from California DMV that they have had a change in emissions policies and are revoking registrations on older imported rovers... Any truth..??

No clue as to whether or not mine will be released, but I suppose 16 months would merit pretty decent compensation...

Anyways, great job Will! And congrats to those "acquitted". Fingers crossed for more good news.

How about lets work on getting the vehicle importation laws changed to something more reasonable like Canada's 15 year rule rather than this 25 year thing. I'm sure lots of the other automotive enthusiast communities would gladly donate money to the cause if someone were to actually get serious and make some noise....

To answer those who keep asking, I have no plans for any action against JLRNA.

I'm grateful to have been able to enjoy a small victory today. It definitely brought a smile to my face to share the news over the telephone with the 3 people I represented. To the other 3 parties included in the Notice of Dismissal who's Defenders are heading home, you're welcome.

But, I've been back at it tonight, because the battle is not over. There are still Defenders that need Defending, and I'm not about to let up.......

Yes! Let's make some noise! Perhaps we should start a separate thread to discuss and see who wants to be involved.
