Here's my '99 300tdi Tdi on a new galvy frame I just imported from Nigeria. It has new interior and push button doors. I was told it's legit as it's re-VIN'd as a 72 Datsun pickup. Good luck to the Feds that try to come and take it because I hid the remote control for it.

They can't all be garage queens .

The irony is my son has - literally 6-7 of these - and they are all beat to piss. I keep telling him you need to keep 1 nice to have a mall cruiser, but he doesn't listen.

My two youngest have done the same thing... We have been swapping parts off the wrecked ones, so the others will stay on the road. Wheels, doors, snorkels, hitches, and trailers... They already bleed green.

Ha! Me too...they end up on my workbench for a tie-rod or wheel swap almost weekly. We've run out of some parts so I've started zip-tying things together (sort of like my real truck).
