This is why I still own a rover after two decades. It's the people I've met and friends I've made. When a drop for donations is created I'll make one to support the cause. Thanks many times over for your service, Will.

Make sure that Will get's a piece of the cake when the opportunity presents itself for punitive damages due to improper procedure or other compensatory rewards due to CBP making the owners pay for importation oversights.

Start keeping track of your monetary impacts due to your vehicle being taken from you gents!

Can the owners of legit trucks be compensated for a rental car? This is assuming the trucks get returned.

Yet another example of our governments inability to allocate money and resources appropriately. 10 agents dispatched at 6am to confiscate an old rusty truck, banging on the door and yelling like its a drug raid? My goodness. I'm loosing faith.

Condolences to all you effected. Again, this is just insane.

Been a lurker for a while...considering adding a 110 to my Landcruiser quiver. Its clear this is a truly great community of people. Hats off to the gentleman offering his legal services.

Good luck everyone!

So what was the rough count of trucks seized? I have heard from 40-160? Big props to Will. He may never pay for another beer.

If you DO get a group together, you should look into a legal defense fund ... I would donate

I don't have a defender, but do have a Series III and think the way this was handled is WAY wrong.

DAMN! That is one nice 1978!

They must have really went balls-out that year.

For my 1979, they went back to the funky door handles, sliding windows and tiny little engine.

The older ones really must be better
