I love that the orange truck is the one in the other thread about being "for sale" in Belgium.

All,

We got bumped from coverage due to "breaking news". It appears that the House of Representatives not passing trade legislation takes precedent over our little ol' Land Rover case. The producer for the segment said that they are feeding the story to its affiliate stations and that they may upload it to their website, but no guarantees for broadcast on either point. Oh well, Cest la vie.....

In the mean time, here is a link to the print story online:

I just hope it doesn't cost the owners an arm and a leg to get their trucks running again. Sitting for so long unused is bad for them

Dried out bushings, seized brake calipers, staling fuel, just to name a few items of concern.

The first one we have gotten started immediately. Only because the owner was proactive prior to seizure, and had battery cutoff in place, and had stabilized his fuel.
Condition was pretty much as it was when it left his place of storage.
Quite surprising actually...

I'm nervously waiting to see what kind of shape everyone's returned vehicles are in. Seem promising so far. Hoping I won't have too much to do without a driveway or garage to work on it at my new place

I can't imagine the total storage fees we the tax payers paid for this injustice.

That is a big 10-4, sir! And, she has received a very hearty and warm welcome back home on the farm here in NC!!

I am very proud to have represented Jennifer (pictured center below) and all of her fellow Land Rover owners in this case. I am truly honored that all were willing to let me defend their legal rights and their Defenders! And, a special thank you also goes out to my co-counsel, Christina Clodfelter with Homesley, Gaines, Dudley, & Clodfelter, LLP (pictured on right below), for all her efforts in working with me on this case!

Congratulations Jennifer!!

I was contacted by someone who saw the segment air last night around 10:00PM or so. It was on a TV in a bar and they only caught the tail end of the piece. Unfortunately, they did not catch which station it was on. It would have been FOX NEWS or an affiliated station. If anyone happened to see it, please let me know! Thanks!
