Himalaya video Tithonus Project

As more Land Rover Tithonus enter the country we thought it appropriate to share another video. I trust those may enjoy the entertainment value of the production.

OMG. LOL.

Never mind Tithonus trucks doing power slides like The Fast and the Furious. Never mind the long tab and the flag on the left shoulder:

This is the moment that has me in stitches:

It would really suck if all these Tiths got hacked up into urban douche-mobiles. Please, people, leave them alone. There aren't that many going to be around unless enthusiasts keep them original.

Does the long tab say 'Maverick' on it?

Come on Bill, do you think that you are "the arbiter of fashion and good taste when it comes to Land Rovers"?

I thought it was very clever. I especially like the dubstep-like "drop" in the plot where the lead "soldier" is actually a regular guy looking for mods.

My only comment would be to reduce the amount of time spent on the soldiers running through the forest (which seems to slow down the pace of the video), and keep all the footage of the trucks driving madly through the forest.

I only wear socks that match the color of my truck, if that's what you mean.

I chuckled.

Again, we appreciate the craftsmanship (maybe not the style), but that video is going to get crucified here with all us actual military types and purists. Undoubtedly, the target audience will rave about it though and that is what matters at the end of the day.

seems to be a disconnect btwn the first half of the video (military, LandRovers, drab, etc) and the second half (douche, chrome, racetracks, etc) Am I missing something?

well produced yes, i just don't get it. Like the himalaya vehicles themselves.

Way to ruin a perfectly good Land Rover. Please ban himalaya4x4 from this site, I hate to think they are doing this to NAS trucks as well

I know we're knocking the video, but he posted a picture of that Sportsman Edition 3 door 110 a while back and it was BAD ASS! It was completely different from his other designs.

I have had the pleasure of googling several of his builds in person and let me tell you the attention to detail and craftsmanship is second to none!!! With that said he is delivering a product on a different level then 99% of us are use to seeing, and he is expanding the Defender market and driving up the value of the original NAS beauties. For sure some of his builds are over the top but so are the clients he is delivering them for! Whether I like his product or not is irrelevant, but respect the man on his craftsmanship and build qualities bc there are only a few companies that deliver a product at his level period, and I guarantee that anyone on this forum was able to see what I got to see your pants would get just as tight as mine did! Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I appreciate Mark sharing his product with the forum.
