If you have any odd questions, shoot me a PM. I have been around a few and probably could help. I know as much about SLs as Horsey does Defenders.

I've got some good connections for parts and restorations on Mercedes. Plus the fact that I am also a Mercedes interior specialist. I started my trade making replacement Mercedes tops and made over 1200 tops in the 80's. let me know if you need some odd or hard to find tops.

You can buy tops for MG's at a pretty low price. I don't make Mercedes tops anymore because the materials cost more than I can buy an aftermarket top for.

Sorry - my bad, typing fast and letters just puked out of my head onto the keyboard.

It's a 'vert, hard and soft top. I need a new top in navy blue.

The 280s are my favorite of all the SLs. I had a '68 Euro model with a 4 speed manual. And my parents picked one up new at the factory on their honeymoon in '69. Love them. Sold it to buy the 90 in '94. Still miss it though.
