Help! - PA

Anyone in the PA area or knowledge of it, I've been talking with a gentleman who's broken down in a NAS110 with a 2.8TGV in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania. Anyone local with experience or knowledge of a shop that can work on it please PM me or email at Zack@Roversnorth.com.

CS - Sounds like a fuel issue, but can't be determined because his battery died.

Thanks,
Zack

Do those engines have mechanical fuel pumps?

I don't know of any Rover specific shops up that way. Trevor is the closest Rover guy that I'm aware of.

The good thing about the 2.8 is it's simplicity. If there are no Rover shops that are familiar with the engine, you could locate a shop that works on older Mercedes diesels. Last resort anyway.
I'm sure Pendy will chime in shortly.

There is another shop, can't recall the name of it. Andrew is the owner, Gustavo knows him. Not sure where in PA he is.

Thanks Dave. Sounds like he's going to get it towed to Trevor's shop for $350...ouch. He has 2 Rovers, I assured him AAA is a better investment than any accessory.

Andrew Ward.
I believe Andrew used to work at Trevor's Dad's shop.

Andrew is a good guy and friend. Gus has him work on a lot of his trucks over the years.

Garafalo's in Clark's Summit. More for the pik-em-up truck crowd, but they are certainly capable of getting a 2.8 moving.

Yeah I was going to say Trevor or Andrew. There's a guy in Southampton PA (Philly northern 'burbs) that has some Rover TDI experience too, http://www.autotronicspa.com/
