Help needed to fight CA ammo restriction

How are you guys doing? I hope this is in the right spot, recently my brother who is stationed out in Camp Pendleton just sent me an email with regards to a California ammo restriction. There's a propposed bill on Gov. Schwarzenegger's desk that would limit the amount of Ammunition purchased to only 50 rounds a month, as well as stopping all ammunition sales. I was wondering if you would all be so kind as to help us out here in this state and call and or email the governor to veto it.

Here are some links in order to help out California

First, I am a gun owner and NRA member. Check your facts as your post is misleading - I just read the bill and it makes no mention of limited ammo sales to 50rds/month (that was taken out of the bill), and does NOT ban traditional ammo sales. The goal of the bill is to keep ammo out of the hands of kids - so stores must keep ammo behind the counter, and it also bans the sale of ammo through the mail and internet.

It is still a bad bill.

I apologize, there was a last minute change to the bill, that I did not read and keep up with. However as it stands, ID is always checked and the portion about keeping ammo out of the wrong hands is just more of a illusion, ammo is always kept behind the counter they just add nothing useful and helpful. They want to add another step to keep people from exercising their rights. The best analogy is "death by a 1000 cuts" even though 1 thing may not hurt you, the culmination of it all will.

Yet another one in a line of BS bills designed to disarm the law abiding citizens. If people dont wake up, pretty soon, there will be no citizens left, and everyone will be an outlaw!
WAKE UP PEOPLE!

Time to get into reloading. Glad I horded thousands of rounds though, and all my friends were like "how come you buy so much ammo but never go to the range?" Now they know.
