Heater not working

It is cold in Denver, and my heater (or the blower??) isn't working. The AC blower works great, but the lever on the right of the steering wheel is all the way down, and no air is being blown out. What part to I need, and how difficult is it to repair myself?

thanks

You may also want to pull off the vent cover on the Passenger wing and try to manually turn the fan motor. Mine accumulated some water and has siezed...

I was recently doing some work on the ignition switch in the dash and when I finished playing around in there I noticed my control for the blower didn't work any more. I ended up opening the dash again and pulling the control level to try cleaning it. Once I re-assembled it, the blower worked as usual.

....Not really sure what I did that fixed the blower, but I guess it was something to do with a connections in the lever.

Its the fuse...

So I go into the fuse box, and their isn't a fuse in the socket. When I tried to replace the fuse, I found that the fuse socket is completely fried out. It won't hold the fuse anymore. So what do I need to replace? The entire fuse panel?? I am guessing THAT is a pain in the ass, not to mention expensive.

Also, I am guessing that the heater motor has gone bad (hence why it fired the fuse socket) would that be a good guess as well?

thanks everyone!

did a quick inline fuse and the heater is working again Just glad the blower motor wasn't blown...

I can see that putting in a new fuse panel would be a PAIN in the ASS
