Man...chicks flashing themselves or militant liberals getting crushed by defenders....damn, damn, damn...I'm going to have to meditate on this one.

I thought we were the laughing stock of the country for that debate. Sorry, just making a (poor) joke.

What about little kids ? I always get nice comments from
little kids, mostly boys ( Mamá, mira el camión del señor...).
Why little fellas love defenders ? probably the "truck factor",
but there is something else, sometimes they go completely nuts.
I think their conception of real beauty is not damaged yet by
time and society , so they do see defenders as what
they are.

I was driving through a parking lot the other week and some punk kid yelled, "this isn't Jurassic Park."

Kids do love the 90 and the plain aspects it has (boxy)...i just hate when they say what kind of jeep is that it looks cool?

everytime someone says that a little tiny piece of my heart breaks

Thanks for the bump Michele. Didn't know this one existed until yesterday. So far this is my favorite from Buckon37s:

"When I drive I have to keep the windshield wipers on constantly so all the panties that are thrown at me don't block my view."

I laughed for 15 minutes straight. Gotta go back and read every single story, it's just too damn funny.

I went driving through DC this morning because of the nice weather, from Rosslyn east down K-street all the way to Pennsylvania Avenue, through Eastern Market, then by the southeast waterfront, and back home via 395.

One thing I noticed is that a lot of people actually want to look at the truck, but they don't want to be rude and stare, so I get a lot of side-long glances out here.

So I drop my kid off at daycare yesterday morning and two of his little friends tell him how much they like my jeep. My son tells them it's not a jeep it's a Land Rover....so later that evening I am at a house party and my truck is parked across the street. Some guy asks me if that's a samurai???

Bronco, Scout, whatever they call it I just say yes and smile. In my opinion it's not worth even explaining it.

A contractor working at my house asked how much I paid for my 90. I always dodge the question but he wasn't taking a non-answer and kept asking so I finally sheepishly said "***ty-five" He replies "***ty-five hundred? That's not too bad, I was thinking 10 grand." I just said "Yeahp."
