To be fair? You are giving credit for something that if he didn't do is pathetic. He has property that doesn't belong to him that he knows you were looking for it. Not contacting you, is scumbag move. Contacting you is the very least he needs to do.

It's like to be fair he does the work he is paid to do. These are minimal expectations of humans.

If you look at the picture of the new windscreen and frame you can see the old one behind it and zooming in you can see the VINN mounting plate still attached.

Good eye. I have never seen that on a NAS D90.

SOS....to all members in the Atlanta area......could anyone pick this up and hold on to it until i can figure out how best to get it back to Houston. David has gone silent. Perhaps he's too busy with paying work to bother with this, or he's pissed. Either way I just need to get this back!!

You can have the glass.....and the windscreen if we can easily separate from the frame!

(I had that picture in my files.....and I didn't even notice that. Great eye Gene!)

Thanks, the window stickers caught my eye in the before and after photos.

Keep the glass installed to the frame. The additional weight to ship can't be more than another $30 or so. Don't give someone the opportunity to inadvertently damage the vin plate when removing the glass.
KISS applies here.

Russell, When you zoom in on the VINN mounting plate it appears to be riveted or screwed to the windshield frame. I could be wrong though as the pic gets fuzzy. If it were me I'd just go with a cordless drill and a 3/16" drill bit and remove the entire mounting plate. Failing that I would take the entire windscreen and deal with it at home before sending what's necessary to Michael(or letting David Dearborn make any more $ off it).

As Ron pointed out above, he's never seen a 90 plate like this.
It could have been moved here in the past .

Oh, and all the weight is in the glass; the frame itself is like 10lbs but with glass...oy vey!

Understood but he has a restored NAS. Spend the extra few bucks to get it back intact provided it's not already unusable hence its removal in the first place.

Yes or at least very close. It is riveted onto the windscreen on NAS 110s.

He has about everything he owns in the world listed on ebay right now... 1700 or so items...

As far as getting this item picked up and the whole matter resolved, you guys all need to join Facebook. The LR Tech Support group would have had the thing for you in 24 hours.

I bought a nice shirt from him LOL it came in a box shipped from a "David William" but had a dry cleaning label sewn on that clearly read "David Dearborn" 😎

I'll be wearing it at URE and MAR if I can make it
