1999 I think. Still have a t-shirt from it even though I did not go. Bought Jesse R's axle shafts back then too.

It was march 1999- cold!! Lots of great people were there. The twist off actually helped me get my rockware suspension mods as I got the prototypes off Matt's rig since they wanted to have a production setup for the competition.

My buddy owns Jessie's old truck from the twist off... A 94 "ford green" fastback.

Slade is still getting out. We did a desert trip together in June. The Ice Cream Truck is sitting at his place in need of freeze plugs. I will be amazed if it ever drives again. Someone should make an offer on it.

Glad to see that you finally CAME OUT of the closet Horsey.. good for you.. next move San Francisco, maybe they grant you the Grand Marshall title at the Parade

I remember the Twist Off! It happened shortly after I found the Yahoo group and was where I met many of the original members of the D90 Source.

Was the first time I'd ever been around so many other D-90's in one place - I was so excited. I must have looked like a dork walking around pointing and snapping photos with a massive smile on my face.

Happy Anniversary D90-source - whenever it is!

Regards,
Art Vigil

I think I still have a bunch of the yahoo group messages archived somewhere, I'll have to dig around for them.

I have a bunch of those yahoo group messages saved. Lots of great info when I first got my 90 and had no idea what to do with it.

Where is Yousef, also where is Buck?

I've known a few people on this board for 10 years or more.
Met Chris von C back in '03. Just saw him this past July.
Alas he is Roverless but his wife has one...fr the moment.

Some people come and go and disappear from these boards for a time and then come back.

I've also met some new people this year that I has seen around for years but didn't *know*---like Bobeck.

Anywhoo...Happy 10th or whatever.
Yes, poor Chris is roverless, and I will never get rid of mine. I am trying to rope him into a RRC, and am working on "liberating" another defender from a family member. It was good to see you Bang....Abbi kept asking why it was called Poon Lagoon...lol.

Staci--get him back in a decent RRC! Cheap, easy, thrills to no end!

As for the Lagoon---I'm not allowed there after dark or on weekends---weird things happen I'm told.
