Damn, called out again!

It should be good. Amelie came to work today and it's Trinity Brewery for lunch.

Thanks Rod!

Thanks all!

Well let's see, at 4, Amelie is done growing and weighs in at about 125-130lbs (depending upon how much hiking we've done). At 10 months, Vincenzo ("Enzo") is just revving up and is currently about 120lbs and taller than Amelie. He keeps it up and he's gonna be a big boy.

I've got a picture around here somewhere of Enzo in Rod's lap on the deck at O'Malley's...

Don't you have two Newfs John? How are they doing?

Wow Enzo is going to be a big boy. I do have a pair of Newfs. Sadly there are with my brother for the winter because we dont have room for them in LA not to mention they would be miserable in the heat.

Yeah, good thing he's a sweetie. He's working toward his TDI certification. That's a bummer, but they do like the snow. We got our first Newf when we lived in San Diego. She was fine there, but liked Colorado much better. We got Enzo from out in your neck of the woods: Sharon, CT.

Congrats on the TDI certification he must be a good guy. Captain is close to 150lbs at 14 months doesnt seem to be slowing. Also luckily he is a big baby. They are much happier in the snow in MA with mutliple acres then they would be in our little backyard in LA. Im sure we miss them more than they miss us right now.

I love having big dogs. We also have an italian mastiff (cane corso). She is about 130 and not a fan of the cold so we have her with us where the Newfies will lay in a snowbank all day.

Those are great dogs. Yeah, that's my girl: she'll lay in the snow on the deck until she's covered up, and THEN want inside (whereupon she will promptly shake the snow off and onto everything).

Thanks! You've been to Trinity?? Wild. It's a small brew pub up the street. Not a huge fan of their beers as they're HEAVILY hopped. However, they have many good brews on tap. I about had to have a nap this afternoon after a pint of Double Bastard Ale (10.5%). Dayum that's good stuff.

Yeah, last summer I visited my old house in Conifer and took a side trip through Pike Natl Forest (on SH67 through Deckers, Woodland Park, Manitou) and ended up with friends at Trinity (on GOG road). I'm a Guinness lover so I didn't try any of their brews but I did have a couple Boddington's (they didn't have Guinness). I really liked the place,, Great assortment of beer...

I've done that loop lots of times. A buddy of mine used to have a house off of Black Mountain Rd. You do that again, be sure and holler. Yup, they've got nitrogen charged Boddington's on tap. Plus, if nobody minds, they'll allow dogs inside!
