Happiness is new tools

All my tools are somewhere in a government storage warehouse - good excuse to buy some new tools. I've been lusting after Facom stuff for a long time, mainly because they sell awesome organization stuff for the tool sets. This particular ratchet has extremely fine action and has an angle-drive inside so that you can work it in confined spaces by twisting the handle grip. I'll use these for awhile and after my normal craftsman stuff arrives post back with a comparison and my thoughts assuming anyone cares. If you want to just ridicule me for buying needlessly expensive tools, that's ok too.

That's what I tell my SnapOn dealer.

The ratchet sounds really interesting. So you can twist the hand grip to loosen/tighten the bolt? I might have to pick one up, that would be great in tight areas!

Looks cool. Available in America? The storage for wrenches looks great.

I have some of that brand.

Nice stuff. Definite Euro feel to them. Usually less gloss on the finish which I appreciate as am rather rough on things at times. Function over form for me.

I'm a big fan of the finish, it's smooth but is satin, I'm curious how it will hold up in use.

I got my stuff from Facom-shop.de which has a great online catalog - google translate is your friend. I think ultimate garage sells the stuff in the states, but I don't know what their prices look like. Griot's used to sell it but the markup was dumb.

Anyone who wants some is welcome to get it delivered to my house and I'll send it to you through the APO, which will doubtlessly save on shipping.

Griots Garage used to carry their stuff- but don't appear to anymore. Congrats Jim always wanted to try a set but could never justify
