hannibal roof rack on d90

Does anyone have a hannibal roof rack on there d90 that could either post up some pics, or email them to me? Pictures of the ladder would also be very helpful. I like the look of the low profile, but can't find any pics on a defender other than there add pictures. Also, if you have one of these racks, how do you like it???

Great roof rack, quiet, light and strong - one of my favorite purchases for mine and much better built than most of the competition. Expensive but worth it.

Yes the awning is the 1.4 meter - another great addition - takes about 30 seconds to deploy and you can even move the truck without folding it up.

I considered the Hannibal rack but ended up going with a Front Runner Wind Cheetah. It's also a South African Aluminium rack. I preferred it over the Hannibal because it was cheaper, had more accessory options and is lower profile than the Hannibal rack. I'm installing it this weekend. If there is interest I can post pictures.

I paid $1040 for the rack. That includes 6 feet. Shipping is additional. If you don't have a roll cage it's easy. If you do (like me) you'll need to get a little bit creative. I designed a solution similar to how Hannibal solved it but I wasn't too happy about it so I am going to weld some tabs onto the roll cage and screw it on there. Much more solid. I also got bike trays and Jerry can holders.

Talk to Martyn at Adventure Trailers. I am very happy with the rack so far. It is a mere 11" tall (bottom of foot inside gutter to top of rack). I clear the parking garage I park in which is standard at 7' (just barely though). You can get anything from roof tent mounts to water tanks for this rack.

I will post pictures when I get a chance.

Not sure about the Hannibal rack but the front runner feet mounts to the slots in the aluminium. You could fab mounts that attaches to the ST cage and attaches to the rack in those slots. Shouldn't be too bad of a modification.

I installed my rack and welded tabs in the front roll cage for it to attach to last week. I will post pictures later today. I also found out that the snowboard carrier I found in the trash room will mount to it as well as the Thule kayak carrier (Set-to-go) I have.

Front Runner Wind Cheetah Pictures.

Here are some pictures of the mod I made to fit the Front Runner rack to the roll cage.
