HAM / GMRS antenna ?

I was wondering if there is an antenna ( firestick or same style ) capable of running both radios a HAM 2 meter and a GMRS Mobile?

Thanks

Goose,

I have no idea about this crap.

But, did a quick search and apparently the Laird Technologies (formerly Antenex) CWB4405 will do the trick.

I don't see anywhere that covers the 2 meter band, did I miss it?

Also would like an antenna look like a firestick if possible... keep searching

He quoted:

"I have both a ham and GMRS license and was looking for a solution that would allow me to transmit on both sets of frequencies with only one antenna. One can use a 1/4 wave whip on UHF with acceptable SWR over a broad range of frequencies, but I was looking for something with a bit more gain. I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon the CWB4405C from Antenex"

Again, know very little about this shit... I don't know if they even make that antenna anymore.

The only place that it looks like they sell it is: http://www.hol4g.com

A dual band ham antenna (like this: http://www.diamondantenna.net/nr770ha.html) would get you pretty close.

How long a run of coax and what type? These things claim pretty wide bandwidth, but you'd still be just outside of it. You won't have the greatest match. But if your coax run is short, you could probably take the hit and be fine.

you can adjust the phasing coils and lengths slightly as well and I'm willing to be you could end up with a find match on GMRS and 2M. GMRS isn't very far outside the 70cm band. About 12mhz
