Looks right on a series. Just doesn't do anything for the 90. Not sure why the difference in my feelings towards it.

Actually, according to this book, the black stripes on the Arusha are decals. I guess it's kind of cool actually.

LR3 on what looked like 35" rubber with 34" rims. Kind of curious how they lifted it that high, it was dwarfing my 109 on paras with 255/85's

Possibly by some kind of body lift? spacing the subframes from the main unibody?

Looks like 22s with a low profile tire and the Johnson Rods or similar lift.

Embrace the suck. Almost thought triple pearl yellow was a factory option color.

Here are a couple to choose from (or retch over...your choice!)

The 109's ugliness is more than skin deep...it's sitting on a Chevy 2WD pickup chassis which is why the extra wide track and lovely fender flares.

The RRC is one I bought for a parts truck a couple years ago. The build quality (or lack thereof) was my main objection to it. Quicky hack job on the wheel opening to clear those 39.5 Super Swampers, still sitting on stock springs but with massive spring spacers made of chunks of square tubing. And still with the stock 10-spline axles...

Since those pics were taken I've sold a few parts off of it. It's an '88 so the doors are '87/88-specific, sold them, sold the LT230 and auto trans, it had a nice low-mileage 3.9 swapped in and it now resides in a '92 RRC, sold the tires to a Yota guy and the wheels separately (though I kind of wish I'd hung on to them) and a bunch of interior trim. Keeping the grille though.

Other than the flares, the white Series looks awesome. I would drive that in a heart beat.
