Ben ... Welcome ... This bunch gets pretty excitable sometimes, I can say that this is one of the best forums for people helping each other out .. the fact that you joined up and faced them in person makes you a decent 'bloke' in my book and as such a valuable forum contributor.

Happy to have another NYC defender on the board ... although they are getting as common as Lambo's now! ;-)

Ben Welcome! Like I said in my previous posts. I like your truck. Maybe you can post some pics when you have your boost wheels installed and not let us know where the pictures where taken . Have you decided on what size tires you want to run? I think you will learn to like this forum. Everyone is very nice and helpfull and usually even when they start mixing it up it's all good. We all have a passion for Defenders!

Yeah thanks Jason...I think I've actually seen your truck before downtown I believe.

------ Follow up post added March 22nd, 2011 02:53 PM ------

Gustavo, maybe someone will post your home address and where you park your truck every night in Maryland on the internet and you can see how you like it.

Yes, Chad I will email some photos when I have time. I have not decided on tires it is slightly lowered so I am going to see regarding clearance.

You live in your truck? That's awful.

Anyone approaching Gustavo's place at night better be well armed, and I'm not talking handguns. Let 'em try to mess with his stuff. I'm sure it would be very much appreciated by him as he needs the live fire practice. It would come as no shock to me if he had the place wired with Claymores.

I think the person that tried to steal one of Gustavos Rovers would probably die a quick death from "lead poisoning".

Ben,

I have to tell you, love to live in the country, any asshole is welcome to walk/drive up my driveway ( 700ft ) , ignore the posted sign and give me enough time to adjust windage and elevation

I assure you I will contact the person who post and gladly remind him I do not like to have my home address blown up on the net, so please black out my tag number or edit my address, but under no circumstances would I suit up

I can also attest to the fact that any would-be thief on Gustavo's property would then be so filled with lead they would be able to use their dick as a pencil.

I will demand royalties on coining the phrase, but I think we could tell a ton of T-Shirts that say:

"I visited Gustavo's house unannounced,
and now I can use my dick as a pencil"

Maybe we should start a new thread..."Things that happen when you visit Gustavo's house" and let this come back to what it's supposed to be.

I submit the following for your review...the "Smart Rover":

The funny thing though, did you notice there's already an oil pan underneath to catch the leaks? Classic...

Maybe it's just me, but I'll never understand why people who do such extensive work like swapping an engine can't finish the firewall in the same color as the exterior.
