No way man. Bring them on... the uglier the better. I can make the "right" again.
In fact I've tried to buy the dang Pope-mobile each time it has come up for sale just so I could turn it back into a stock Wagon, but I could never make a deal happen.
It would make me sleep better at night to "de-pimpen-ze-auto" to a lot of these Defenders.

We should start the humane society for land rovers so we can save these abused vehicles, return them to their natural state and set them free on the savannahs of africa.

This isn't a Rover that sucks, but I would like to nominate LRNA itself for the hall of shame for making the 1993-1995 NAS V8 Defender... vehicle that they know does this (see images) and never owning up to it.

I have often contemplated the best method to install dark "smoke tinted" windows in a Defender. It is obvious to me now - you just start a small camp fire in the front seat.

I agree. Its crazy to me that a vehicle that has a tendency to burst in to flames is not recalled. Any idea how many or % of NAS Defenders that have caught on fire because of the oil cooler lines? Its a matter of awareness. If 60 minutes hadnt done the story about the Audi 5000's suddenly lurching into gear they probably wouldnt of recalled those either. Everytime i see someone driving down the road in a D90 i want to stop them and tell them about the oil cooler lines but shouldnt that be LRNA's job?!

The orange one has Louis Vuitton fabric all over it, a cd changer mounted in the passenger airbag location and a tv screen in the steering wheel...where is the shaking head emoticon?
