Guess what my new job is (maybe)...[Cor4 Eng.]

Next Monday I'll move to Reggio Emilia to start "working" at Cor4 Engineering.
For those who don't know, Davide, the guy behind the name, is the original founder of Equipe 4x4.

We had a chat time ago and he would like me to join the team there, doing mostly what I did in the past years for other companies in the business, taking care of international customers and suppliers (and other stuff).

Although I'm not a bling guy, I must say it would be quite interesting to work there, so we agreed to start for a month and then see what happens.

Should you any of you guys fancy any info, I'll be answering the emails and giving technical details and support.

I don't know if I'll ever stay, as a lot of important details and conditions have yet to be worked out but I hope for the best...

Of course I'll keep on drawing my cartoons in the spare time (evenings and weekends, sigh!)

http://www.davidecorsetti.com/

Wish me luck...!

Good luck! Their stuff is little blingy but I am just jealous as I can't afford it, haha.

Let us know how it goes!

Thought so. I wonder if some shop on your site of the pond might be interested one day, it would be great to have the chance to work there even for a limited time.

As to the blingy stuff, I couldn't afford most of it neither, and all my plans are now for the old 109"...

Congrats. Some of their stuff is pretty sexy. I followed your link and saw a product I've never seen from them before - the Defender metal dash - or as they call it "Cruscotto strumentazione supplementare" which just souds way cooler.

Elegant design be damned, just bolt it all to a metal plate and call it awesome.

Awesome. Hopefully you can unfuck their US sales. I'd buy half their catalog if you could actually get them to ship product.

Their stuff may be "blingy", but it's top of the line and well thought out.

You need to get with Lucky8 and figure out how to get my stuff here.

Last time I spoke with Justin he told me they took the summer off...must he nice. I'm headed that way this winter and intend to stop in to fill a suite case with little bling parts and talk about getting shit shipped to the USA.

Yup, I hear you and I guess that's another reason why they would need me.
But mind Equipe is a separate brand and company now, I won't have anything to do with that,
and I'll spare you the details

If needed I'll be happy to help you (assuming this thing will turn into a real job).

Just to clarify, I'm not against bling (everybody loves some!), I just have a lower profile.
I use some small and simple parts he designed, because they were readily available and suit my needs (with little modification).

But you're right about the quality, he's all about that (and design).

How's the Pinkie

There's an English version of the Cor4 site but at a first glance it seemed me unfinished...
