Group buy modern Defender tire cover

All,

I have been on the hunt for the more modern Defender rear tire cover that is produced today in the UK, and found a vendor that was recommended by a board member that will produce these. See pic below...usually this style is on the molded rear tire cover that lists for $250+.

I was quoted this design on a normal vinyl cover that fits stock D90 spare tires. I am not looking to make money on this at all, but wanted to see if there was any other interest in these as there would be a price break. $37.50 each if there are 25 interested (that price includes set up fee if 25 are interested).

Any one interested?.....

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is the mock up, Let me know what you think.

edit: Info added March 7...
"So here are some answers from the manufacturer...

1. Durability and quality is excellent, this same company produced all the US Dealer tire covers that had the dealerships name printed for any LR with spare. You still see some of those around today.

2. They are cinched down by a bungee

3. The logo is screen printed just like the LR tire covers you've seen from dealers

4. YES they will do size 35" for those asking. Their 32" cover actually works for the 33 tire.

Right now we are at 16 total, need 24 to make this happen. Any of you running 33s want to jump on now?"

People still use the stock size?

Sure, can you quote a buy on different sizes or just one?

I'd be in for 2-3 @ 255s (33s) @ ~$37/ea.

So I asked, and yes they can do these in 33in tires. Plus we can mix and match stock size and 33's to get to 25 total. So far I count 11 covers including myself getting 2.

I'm counting more like 12-14 from the above, but regardless looking good. Price point would stay the same?

If we get to 25 the price would be 37.50/ea. I think we should let this run a week and see if we can get to 25...yes price is still the same per unit even on the 33in one.

And yes, we can do them in any size, we've done them in our regular material for 37s. I'll work up a price, I'm assuming that the other vendor is just doing a vinyl appliqué on them. Would you supply the art?

I cannot provide the art, and the original vendor is approved by LR to use the art so I assume we should just go the original route. Thanks for the offer though, do you want one?
