GPS advice

Does anyone have the Garmin 2610/20/50 or the Magellan Roadmate 500/700? I will be replacing a Garmin StreetPilot III that I was very pleased with. That is, up until the time when some rat bastard stole mine from my bag when I checked it at the airport. Did you know that airlines won't reimburse you for electronics, jewelry, cameras, or other expensive stuff that THEY lose while it's THEIR custody?

Bummer man, first your camera now your GPS, bad luck for you this year.

Now as for the 2610 that is one BLING GPS! Touch screen and a remote control! Are you trying to beat Yousef with his TV/VCR combo and Satellite radio?

Mike, I know I have a long way to go before I catch up with all the bling bling that Yousef OR Dave have. Still have to make room for the rubber boots though.

Sandals are easier to carry then rubber boots, but you need to remember to put them on before you drive into water 4 feet deep.

Have you tried checking out West Marine or a place like that? They normally have them on display so you can play with them. I also saw a few good reviews aniline about the 2160. I also saw it listed some place for $714.

Ken, the holidays are coming. Somebody might get you some boots...

I'm hoping to get waders. I know CVC has some.

See, now if you had a GPS, you would have been able to avoid that puddle...

Naw. Mike would just mark all his favorite holes on a GPS.

No need to mark them, when I'm with you guys you always seem to point me in the right direction, all that I remember hearing was you guys being told by Lynn that there was a puddle 5 feet deep (I heard this second hand) and you guy's replying to her saying oh thats got Mikes name written all over it .
