Got the call, moving to Philly

I put in with my company a while back to request a transfer to the Philly area, last Friday it finally happened. in 2-4 weeks (still working out the details/timeframe) Wifey and I will be out of DC.
I'm sure I'll cross paths with the NoVA/DC rover guys again, but in the meantime I'd like to thank all of you for your help with my repair questions (in Ren Ching's case lots of wrenching, see what i did there?) and hospitality when initially joining D-90, especially being a former JEEP GUY.

I'll be seeking out the d-90 source people in Philly soon enough.
I can't wait to rip off my front license plate.

Sorry to see you go, Danny. Best of luck out there in Philly

Any idea specifically what area of the city you'll be in?

working in the NE, to live not sure yet. Wifey is from the NE 'burbs and has about 10000 relatives in the area so I'm sure we'll get plenty of advice...

Thanks, we're excited.

Welcome!

Feel free to stop by when you get settled (I live out by Villanova -- in fact I will be teaching there next year) and if you need anything do not be afraid to PM me. I don't know much about NE philly as I am a main line person, but to the extent you decide to live closer to me, I am happy to give you input on places.

Worth joining R.O.V.E.R.S. as we have some member exclusive events.

Cool, I'll check it a little bit, will likely rely on GPS the first few months. Cousin went to Villanova and the lady is from Philly, so I've spent a good amount of time in and around. I was at her high school reunion with her a few years ago at Brownie's actually. A bunch of our college friends live in Manayunk too.
thanks!

haha, lets just say I'll be mostly on PA-73 (aka Church road outside of the city) for most of my commute.
