Good experience with UK vendor

LR Direct. I placed my order on Thursday morning last week and the parts were on my doorstep on Monday at 9AM. Pricing competitive and shipping reasonable.

Similar experience here. Got an MPH speedo for a great price and it took 3 work days to arrive.

Same here. Ordered a brake accumulator for the RR and received it one week later. And the best part; it was almost half the price of most suppliers inclusive of shipping. $151US

What's the deal with their import duties? Do they actually pay them as it states on their website?

It *seems* to allude to that on the website, but then when you checkout it says "it appears that your order isn’t liable for any additional duties of import to your country"....but usually parts seem to get whacked with a 6% import duty by delivering shipping company. Wondering if you'll get slapped with a bill from FedEx/UPS/DHL later.

That has happened to me with orders from certain vendors, but not others.

Also does seem to depend on the size of the order.

LR Direct takes care of the duties. It shows up via FedEx a few days later. No fuss, no mess.

A couple times I've ordered parts from them it arrived the very next day. Pretty amazing. I have had a problem with them though. One time they sent me the wrong part so I told them, took pictures, etc and they told me they sent me a replacement, but it never arrived and they never provided me with a tracking number. When I've emailed them back they just say it's been sent. So they're great if they send you the correct part and it arrives in good condition, but otherwise not.

They've impressed me with their enthusiast attitude. Hoping to visit them next time I'm home. They aren't far from my family.

Love these guys! Almost always cheaper than anywhere else even with shipping across the pond. I have ordered everything from tiny parts to hoods, doors and a new steering box from them. Never had a problem. If you don't pay the duties on their site, FedEx sends you a bill in the mail. Usually about $25 per $1000 of merchandise or so.

Just received a big order from them. My only complaint is that they don't list detailed descriptions of the package contents so a FedEx customs broker contacted me for material composition and intended use for each item. I also I had to fill out a HS7 form for seat belts. It caused delivery to be delayed from Friday to today, but no biggie. Everything arrived safe & sound.

I got something from Turner in 2 days, small item. So much less hassle than trying to get it from some, who think a $600 order isn't worth calling you back. #IMISSGEORGE

God knows I am " THE " number one fan of L8

RN has helped me many many times as well with great prices and supported the events

But on some specialty trucks/items, when you need it in a pinch, these guys can provide it to you

I shop LRDirect first as they price stuff reasonably then I shop elsewhere to see how much mark up has been applied.

You will be surprised, when you are buying a few items how quickly LRDirect even with import tax and shipping, becomes whole lot more reasonable with confidence that you are getting branded item. IE gasket kits.
